The following sections provide instructions on migrating your existing subscriptions from the legacy customer portal (https://portal.apptigent.com) to the new Apptigent store.  If you need assistance, please open a support ticket here.

PowerTools Community Edition (LITE) and Professional (PRO)

Follow these steps to update your Power Apps and Power Automate connections with new subscription details:

  • Visit our Shop and sign up for a new PowerTools Community Edition or Professional Edition subscription.
  • After receiving order confirmation and the welcome email, click the Logout | Account button in the top menu.
  • From the My Account page, click Subscriptions on the left, then select your new subscription from the list on the right. (If you are on a paid subscription and wish to receive credit for a partial billing cycle, please open a support ticket so we can process your refund).
  • Your license key will be displayed in the subscription details. If it is not displayed on your first attempt, wait a couple of minutes and refresh the page (it sometimes takes a minute or two for the key generation process to complete on new subscriptions).
  • Copy the license key value and store it in a safe location.
  • Navigate to your instance of Microsoft Power Apps or Power Automate, select the Connections option in the left navigation menu, and create a new connection using the license key you saved in the previous step.
  • Edit any apps or flows using the PowerTools connector and update them to use the newly created connection. In some cases, you may need to duplicate the action configuration in a new action instance to ensure that the latest version from the gallery is being used.
  • Republish your apps and flows.

PowerTools for Salesforce

Follow these steps to update your PowerTools installation with new subscription details:

  • Update your PowerTools installation from AppExchange using the “Get it now” button (NOTE: you may need assistance from your Salesforce administrator to complete this step).
  • Visit our Shop and sign up for a new PowerTools for Salesforce subscription. This will not impact your existing AppExchange license (these are automatically updated when you install a new version of the package from AppExchange).
  • Provide this key to your Salesforce administrator to replace the existing value in the PowerTools named credential password field (Note to administrators: the username value for the credential has changed from “X-IBM-Client-Id” to “X-Apptigent-Id” – if the change is not made automatically when the new package is installed you may need to change it manually).
  • Republish any flows using PowerTools actions to ensure they are referencing the latest version from AppExchange.

PowerTools for Nintex, IBM BPM, and Developer Edition

Follow these steps to update your custom connection, extension or code with new subscription details:

  • Visit our Shop and sign up for a new subscription for your desired platform.
  • Get the latest version of the PowerTools Open API specification for your platform from our Documentation page. The JSON file is linked near the top of the page under the “Base URL” value.
  • Nintex and IBM: Use this file to update your existing connector/extension definition, then paste your license key into the connection details, overwriting the existing value.
  • Developer: Update your REST connections to use the new Host and basePath values in the specification. Replace any references to “X-IBM-Client-Id” with “X-Apptigent-Id” in the HTTP request header keys and replace the existing header value with the new license key.
  • Republish any apps or workflows using the connector to ensure they are referencing the latest version.
